Colour Coded Cleaning

The Agar Colour Coded Cleaning System provides cleaning staff with a simple and straight forward method of identifying chemicals, eliminating the risk of cross contamination and the misuse of products. The system organises everyday housekeeping chemicals into colour and number coded categories representing eleven daily cleaning tasks, identifiable by:

Colour and Number Coded Drum Labels:

The products included in the system feature the colour and number code clearly on the container label. The use of number coding means that colour blindness is not a problem.

Matching Dye:

Detergents are dyed to correspond to the systems colour code. So the colour of the solution in the container should match the colour code on the label or bottle.

Dispenser Bottles:

Screen printed dispenser bottles with the appropriate colour, number code, usage directions, first aid advice and dilution rates are available for each product.

Wall Charts:

Agar will provide wall charts that clearly outline all products with information on application, dilution, risk data and first aid. Separate charts are available for food service and general cleaning products.
