General Cleaning

Performance and value for money are the key to Agar's range of general cleaning products. All products have been colour coded, with screen printed spray bottles and colour coded wall charts also available.

All Purpose Cleaners
Agar produces a range of low alkaline to neutral all purpose cleaners designed to remove a spectrum of soils from all hard surfaces. From a detergent approved for hospital usage, to the ultimate multipurpose floor and hard surface cleaner which sanitises and deodorises (is excellent in areas of hard water), Agar's all purpose cleaners are versatile and will assist you in keeping inventories to a minimum by being able to use the one product for an assortment of tasks.

Bathroom & Toilet Care
We have products for the safe cleaning and disinfecting of toilets, urinals, baths, showers, floors, basins, ceramic tiles and fittings, porcelain and enamel. Mildly acidic and citrus based formulations available, these cleaners will control germs and deodorise surfaces.

Chlorinated cleansers (creme and powder) are also available to clean porcelain and enamel surfaces, however, with soft polishing abrasives won't scratch surfaces. They will remove water stains, soap scum and body fats.

Deodorant Detergents
With a choice a pleasant perfumes, Agar offers a range of deodorising detergents and air fresheners. Being suitable for use by spraying as an air freshener and by mopping or washing hard surfaces, the long lasting fragrances will handle the most offensive odours.

Disinfectants & Anti-Bacterial Detergents
Anti-bacterial detergents and disinfectants which kill germs and disinfect. Available in a choice of three fragrances, they are ideally suited for use on washroom fittings, toilet and shower areas, locker rooms, pet accomodation and all hard surfaces.

Glass Cleaner
A high performance spray and wipe glass cleaner that removes grimy films and soilage without streaking. Suitable for use on glass, mirrors, chrome and highly polished surfaces.

Heavy Duty Cleaners
Choose from our range of heavy duty cleaners, each with their own way of attacking a range of cleaning situations. They can be used in floor cleaning situations as well as removing soils such as smoke stains, fungi, mould, mildew, organic fats, oil grease, soap scum, ceramic tiles, glass, concrete, stainless steel, porcelain, quarry tiles and stone floors. Some have been approved by the AQIS, with many able to be used in autoscrubbers.

Personal Care
Luxurious hand soaps complete the product range for the bathroom. Being gentle on the skin it produces a thick lather which lifts dirt leaving the skin soft and supple. This can also be used in kitchen areas. Bodywash and conditioning are also available.

Spray & Wipes
For use on hard surfaces our spray and wipe cleaners will not leave steaks or residue. Effective on all hard surfaces they will remove soilage, leaving surfaces smelling clean.

Specific Purpose
Agar produces specific purpose products to target the following problem areas:

Bathrooms: A product with whitening and antibacterial agents to cut through soapy build-ups and to control germs and mildew. Useful for toilets, washrooms, showers and pool areas and cleaning old mops.

Garages: A degreaser that will attack and dissolve heavy grease and oil, allowing it to be rinsed away.

Stainless Steel: Two to choose from, both of which leave a thin protective film to make daily cleaning a simple task of lightly polishing with a clean dry cloth.

Furniture Polish: To clean, protect and polish furniture in one spray-wipe action, Agar's furniture polish is the product to be using. Silicone and wax-based, it is lightly perfumed to leave surfaces smelling clean. Useful for desks, chairs, tables, benches and counters.
